Supporting The Ottawa Hospital Foundation
The Walls and Ceilings Contractors Association has recently signed a pledge agreement with The Ottawa Hospital Foundation to donate $500,000 of the targeted $300 million for the new campus at Carling Avenue. It is with pride and gratitude to our community of contractors, ecosystem of suppliers and trade partners that makes this pledge possible. With just 28 member firms in WACCA, the organization continues to be a beacon of community support in and around Ottawa and the Outaouais region.

WACCA HITS IT OUT OF THE PARK and Onto the green in 2025!
The recipient of the 2025 Fundraising campaigns is the Royal in Ottawa. In total $100,000.00 was raised in support of leading mental health research, treatment and supports. Thank you to an incredible construction industry ecosystem in Ottawa and the region that support WACCA through Annual Tournaments.

WACCA Annual Charity Golf 2024 Supporting New Canadians
WACCA is renowned regionally for its annual golf tournament. The 2024 39th Annual Charity Tournament raised $80,000.00 toward sheltering and costs associated with new Canadians in the Ottawa region. This donation and the tremendous support demonstrated by our members, suppliers, labour partners, and customers doubled the organizations 2024 budget. It is a true testament to WACCA's relationship with the community it serves. Thank you so much to the dedicated volunteers who make this event happen year after year!

WACCA raises $40,000 for ottawa food bank in 2025!
At the November 4th "empty your pockets and match" challenge WACCA raised $40,000.00 in contribution to the Ottawa Food Bank. With 550,000 plus visits in 2025 and expected in 2026, it is our small way to contribute to the community that drives WACCA members' businesses forward.
